Queen of the Isle of Wight and other stories

This project, curated by the New Carnival Company, takes it name from the legend of Isabella de Fortibus, born in 1237, an Island resident and England's wealthiest woman in the late 13th century who was commonly referred to as the 'Queen of the Isle of Wight'. It is delivering a series of large scale outdoor performances inspired by our local heritage and realised by local residents and providing informal and accredited learning opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
