Restoring Sandown's Lost Duver

Duver is an Isle of Wight word for an area of sand dunes. The Lost Duver project sprouted from the cracks in the Yaverland pavement! Working with volunteers from Sandown Green Towns, the 5th Sandown Brownies and Wild about Wight's Green Army, Common Space have managed to plant a new beach garden called 'The Seed Bank'. The work was a genuine community effort mobilising the efforts of families and uniformed groups amongst many others.
