Dark Nights @ the Garlic Farm 2018

More than 800 people took a magical lantern walk with the New Carnival Company to experience Dark Nights at The Garlic Farm over the weekend of 26/27 October 2018. Participants were treated to an array of impressive illuminated creatures and installations created around the theme of IW Dialect - our Verbal Heritage. A water-geal (double rainbow), and two gurt mallishags (large caterpillars) ) were just some of the many delights encountered. All were created specifically for Dark Nights by local community members, artists and schoolchildren.
