Parks, Gardens and the Picturesque

The Down to the Coast landscape is blessed with a wealth of fine parks and gardens many of which were laid out by gentlemen in late 18th and 19th centuries who were drawn to the Island by its Picturesque qualities. This project has been about raising awaerness of these magnificent sites and offering new opportunities for people to enjoy and learn about them
